Description

CMS and more!

Welcome to the Webciety! The model-driven web development of onion.net takes you securely into Web 3.0 or whatever else may still come yet. For onion.net has integrated innovative ability.

The onion.net principle is simple:
  • You devise an information model
  • onion.net automatically generates your editor from this
  • You maintain content, structure and access rights, all of which you can do comfortably and securely with your easy-to-operate editor
  • If necessary, you can easily adapt your information model – even during operation
  • you can naturally describe output onto the web or other media and formats with XSL using the editor
onion.net operates quickly, reliably and economically on the basis of current technologies and standards.

The onion.net vision

is based on a few fundamental considerations:
  • We do not know what type of information you will process with onion.net. We are therefore placing the best possible technology into your hands so that you can adapt your information models according to requirements - even during operation.
  • We do not know what the coming years will bring in terms of technological advancement. We are therefore ensuring that your information in onion.net can be quickly and easily transformed in any output channels and formats.
  • We do not know which people in your organisation can describe the information you wish to announce with onion.net. We have therefore developed a simple user interface which always adapts to your project automatically. In this way, everybody in the enterprise can work with onion.net without the need for large amounts of training.
  • You are investing in a CMS because your information is valuable to you. Your CMS must be fast and reliable. We have therefore opted for a distributed client/server architecture based on the Microsoft .NET framework and carried out programming with 100% managed code in C#, one of the most up-to-date programming languages.
onion.net is more flexible, faster and more reliable than other CMS systems – so CMS and more!
