Content Management Analyst
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. This person will support software design / development, integration, data migration, and operations/maintenance tasks for our federal client’s Web Content Management System (CMS) in Washington, DC.
This will be a client interfacing role which requires the right candidate to have strong communication and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will require strong requirements analyst skills with an understanding of business and technical aspects of Web CMS solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Works directly with Customer(s), stakeholders, and Program Managers to achieve goals
- Supports Web CMS solution evaluation effort for the government client
- Supports Web CMS solution implementation effort for the government client
- Develops scope and approaches for CMS solution implementation tasks
- Identifies and develops customer business requirements
- Supports internal project management processes and procedures consistent with the Project management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
- Implements process for change and configuration management
- In coordination with the project manager and technical staff, develops project documentation, standard operating procedures, and other project and technical documentation through out the evaluation, implementation and transition to operations and maintenance phases of the project.
- Supports meeting management, including development of agendas, minutes, action items and issues
Anticipates cost, schedule, and resource issues; works with the Program Manager to resolve</UL>
Job Requirements
- Strong client management skills
- Experience working market research and product solution evaluations / selections
- Experience working Web CMS solution evaluations
- Experience supporting government clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes related to technical implementations of Web technologies.
- Experience leading requirements analysis efforts to include stakeholder interviews, needs analysis and requirements documentation.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive documentation packages by gathering relevant information and using existing document templates or directing others in their use.
- Experience in facilitating documentation reviews and approvals, and monitoring progress
- Experience in recognizing potential obstacles to approvals, and making required corrections and enhancements to ensure timely processing.
- Strong writing skills, interpersonal skills (assertive and outgoing), customer relationship management skills, and flexibility are a must.
Desired:
- Knowledge and experience with implementing Federal software solutions
- Experience providing IT consulting to government clients
- Experience with Web CMS solutions
