Hi there
Was hoping someone could recommend a flash content management system and let me know if webgui actually allows you to edit the text in an SWF. I've heard of ego7 and flashblocks, but are these the only two that are full flash content management systems.
Thanks
I purchased FlashBlocks and I gotta tell you some of the features are still in Beta. When you purchase FlashBlocks, you get source code sent to you, not an application, extension or plugin. Thorough documentation is also sorely needed. If you go through the bulletin boards on that site look at the questions people are asking and responses they are getting. It seems like he expects everybody to be as fluent in ActionScript as he is!
That said, I am actually
starting to have FlashBlocks working the way I want it to. Adding and
editing text is pretty easy... It's his other modules such as the
Gallery that will have you scratching your head. I suppose if you are
already pretty good at ActionScripting, you'll be able to tweek his
code and get it working to your satisfaction... but when he comes out
with an update you have to go back into the Actionscript and make your
customizations all over again!
Take a look at theory7 --

It uses swift3D as well as flash. Beware that the flash scene is developing rather rapidly, and with upcoming contenders like Microsoft Sparkle, jumping into ecommerce with flash might be the wrong move.
just a thought.
Take a look at this Flash CMS
From the sites listed on their web site, it looks like it can do what you are looking for. But it is a commercial CMS so I am sure it's expensive.
Anyway, check out their main site at Venuiti - Flash CMS
